Terms and conditions of sale

1. Scope and seller
These terms and conditions govern every order placed on seymaison.com, a store operated by HYESSAGENCY, the French sole proprietorship of Haris Yessad, SIREN 887 903 060, VAT not applicable under art. 293 B of the French Tax Code (contact: contact@seymaison.com). Placing an order implies full acceptance of these terms, which the customer acknowledges having read before payment.
2. Products
The products offered are ceiling fans and accessories, described with the greatest care on each product page. Photographs and stagings are illustrative: slight colour variations, particularly on wood finishes, may exist from batch to batch and do not constitute a lack of conformity.
3. Prices
Prices are in euros, all taxes included, excluding any delivery costs shown before checkout. SEY Maison may change its prices at any time; products are invoiced at the rate in force when the order is confirmed.
4. Order and payment
Payment is made online, securely, via Shopify Payments (bank cards and payment methods shown at checkout). The order becomes final only after payment confirmation. SEY Maison reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order of an abnormal or fraudulent nature, or in the event of a previous dispute with the customer.
5. Delivery
We deliver to mainland France, Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg, within 6 to 10 working days on average from order confirmation, with a tracking number sent by email. If a parcel arrives damaged, the customer must note precise reservations with the carrier upon delivery and report them within 72 hours to contact@seymaison.com, with photos, for priority handling.
6. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the customer has 14 calendar days from delivery to exercise their right of withdrawal without stating reasons. The precise terms (mandatory prior notification, condition of the product, return costs borne by the customer, deduction for depreciation) are detailed in our Returns and refunds policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
7. Statutory warranties
All our products are covered by the statutory warranty of conformity (articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, 2 years) and the warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). In the event of a proven defect, SEY Maison will first repair or replace the product or the affected part (blades, remote, motor, light kit); a refund is only issued when bringing the product into conformity is impossible or cannot be achieved within a reasonable time.
8. Installation and liability
Our fans connect to a standard ceiling electrical outlet. Installation must be carried out with the power off, following the manual and applicable electrical standards; using a qualified electrician is recommended. SEY Maison cannot be held liable for damage resulting from non-compliant installation, product modification or abnormal use.
9. Personal data
The data collected is necessary for order processing and handled in accordance with our Privacy policy. Customers have the rights of access, rectification and deletion provided by the GDPR.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first: written complaint to contact@seymaison.com, then free recourse to the consumer mediator whose details are provided on request. Failing that, the French courts will have jurisdiction.
